David Hogue was born in Bismarck, North Dakota. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1981, Cornell College in 1984 and the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1987. After law school, David served one year as a law clerk to Ralph J. Erickstad, Chief Justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court.
David joined the Pringle & Herigstad, P.C. Law Firm in 1988 and has been engaged in the full-time practice of law since then. David served in the North Dakota National Guard for 25 years, retiring in 2009 at the rank of Colonel. David currently serves as a member of the North Dakota Legislative Assembly. David’s legal practice includes corporate and commercial transactions, with emphasis on personnel law, health care law, telecommunications law, contract law, real estate, and public utilities. David represents plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury cases.
David is married to Paula (Kirschemann) Hogue. They have two children, Marshall and Megan.
